BREAST LIFT

What does breast lift surgery consist of?

Also known as mastopexy or breast lift, lift is a procedure that aims to lift the breast and reposition the nipple. This is done by removing excess skin around the areola and under the breast.

This intervention is indicated for cases of sagging or sagging breasts; for example, following pregnancy, breastfeeding or significant weight loss.

What results can you expect from a breast lift?

Breast lift helps to firm and rejuvenate the breast by giving it a more enveloping skin. The breast regains its natural position and its shape is improved.

Lifting can be combined with breast augmentation if you want more volume or more firmness.

As the lift respects the physiology and function of the breasts, their development will then continue normally.

How is the intervention carried out?

The duration of this surgery is about three hours. The procedure is done under general anesthesia. Since this is essentially a remodeling, incisions will be made to pull the nipple up and remove the excess skin. This will give the breast better support and a recovery period of about two weeks before resuming normal activities.
